I. INTRODUCTION

Harrel Horne Integrated School celebrates its 29th Foundation Day last December 5-10, 2022 with the theme “CULTURAL RENEWAL: REVITALIZE TRADITIONS AND TO STRENGTHEN AND FULLFIL THE VISION”. Every year, the school celebrates its respective foundation days to commemorate the day when the school was founded or established. It is significant not only because of the number of years it has served the community where a school belongs to. Foundation Day usually adopts a very festive mood of games, dance, and friendly sports competitions and highlights every department and year level with different variations of cultural and festive dances.

Students' presentations are considered the highlight because this is one of the rare chances their parents see their children perform with the rest of the students. All activities that we've done during this event are excellent avenues for all of us as we preserved our cultural and its heritage reflect and shape values, beliefs, and aspirations, thereby defining a people's national identity. It is important to preserve our cultural heritage, because it keeps our integrity as a people to grow, mentally, physically, and emotionally.

The appreciation of cultural renewal should be communicated through an integrated education approach in this global society. Sustainability in the preservation of cultural heritage through education should be encouraged. To be kept alive, tangible cultural renewal must remain relevant to a culture and be regularly practiced and learned within communities and between generations.

PROGRAM EVALUATIONS & RECOMMENDATIONS

Foundation Day celebrations are exciting and eventful for all. Despite being tired due to the preparations a few weeks ago, the students were still very eager and happy to participate in different activities. Students at different levels wore their best costumes with finesse through the field where the faculty and staff showcased their dancing talents too. We see to it that every program ran smoothly to give students and parents the best experience possible. Undeniably, this is an event that a HARRELLIAN cannot afford to missed.
